Happy Endings - Adopted & Rescued Pets

Penny

I was brought into BARC after getting hit by a car. It hurt my hip and leg but I REFUSE to give up walking. I am a VERY determined little girl. The doctors decided not to operate but they did recommend that I see a rehabilitation vet. My foster mommy takes me outside every day and I show her how well I am walking. I am now healed but still walk a little funny.

Pete

I was picked up running the streets in Lancaster (around Dallas) and Loving Arms rescued me and brought me to Houston to meet my new family. Will it be you? I am a happy young man who loves to play with kids and other dogs. I’m not too sure how to play with cats but they may be fun too. If you’ve got room in your heart to love me and time to play with me, then let’s get this adoption on the road and fill out the application. I’m watching and waiting for you to come into my life so please hurry up.

Petunia

Aren’t I a cutie? Look how pretty my coat looks. Can you believe someone decided to leave me alone in a cart in a pet store? I’ve had puppies and I guess they thought I was too old and had some health issues so I couldn’t produce more puppies so I was kicked to the curb. Loving Arms has taken me in and now I am feeling better. My medical issues have resolved but I will never be the speedy companion to a runner. (Both of my hips were dislocated and required surgery.) In spite of past hardships, I am happy and spirited.

Phoebe

I'm a cute, young lady - 2-3 years and 11 lbs. My former owner got too busy for me, so I'm looking for a new arrangement. I love laps, toys and get on well with other dogs. Regular grooming will be on my schedule but I do love attention and sit quietly for my haircut. Kids would be ok, if they respect my size.

Pickles

Aren’t I a fuzzy little girl? My fur is so very soft. I am looking for a wonderful family who would love to have my sister, Salami, and me as their girls. Let’s get this adoption rolling.

Piper

My litter mates and I were dumped when we were 3 weeks old. There are 6 of us and now we are ready to find our forever homes.

Pipi

I may be a large girl, 60 lbs, but am very sweet. I am good with kids and most dogs and cats. I was rescued from an animal shelter and very happy to be in a foster home where I am loved and have doggie friends but I would love to have a permanent home of my own with you. I love pillows and my toys but I don’t like to be alone either outside or indoors.
Let’s snuggle, I’m ready!

Pippi

Pippi is the runt of the litter of 3, but tells her siblings what to do. She is very active, confident and does not act her size. Pippi loves to play with tennis balls and her siblings.
