Penny

I was brought into BARC after getting hit by a car. It hurt my hip and leg but I REFUSE to give up walking. I am a VERY determined little girl. The doctors decided not to operate but they did recommend that I see a rehabilitation vet. My foster mommy takes me outside every day and I show her how well I am walking. I am now healed but still walk a little funny.

Aberdeen

Hello there… I am a sweet girl who was abandoned and Loving Arms came to my rescue. I now have a roof over my head and meals every day that I don’t have to scrounge for, but I would really like to become a part of your family and be really spoiled. I like other dogs and would love to play with your dog so let’s get together and see if we can make a miracle before Christmas.

Harper

Harper is a quiet cat who is affectionate on her terms. She is active, playing with toys. Harper likes being near her person , but doesn't want to crowd you. Harper also enjoys climbing on tall cat trees and watching birds, squirrels and bugs outside the window.

Callie

Callie likes to patrol around the house to make sure all is in order. She doesn't want to interact with people, but you know she is "on the job." Callie likes to cuddle with the other cats and especially enjoys
sunning herself on a window sill or watching birds or squirrels from a window. She is a wonderful companion to the other cats.

Rusty

Rusty is outgoing to a point. She prefers the company of other cats, but will stay still if a person comes close. The only trigger point is not wanting to be touched. Rusty loves to sun herself on a window sill, relax on a bed or play with other cats. She enjoys her life as a cat companion.

Meg

Meg - when you see her - is a beautiful medium-haired grey/brown tabby. She isn't visible for long - that's why we don't have many photos. Meg darts away if a person enters her room. Meg and her brother Stewart were found alone outside and brought to our rescue. They missed their window of opportunity to bond with people. Meg is a sweet companion to her other cat friends.

Heather

Heather is an ideal Spirit Cat - you almost never see her. She stays in the back of the house, sunning on a window sill, chattering at birds, playing with other cats or catching up on beauty rest. She is a wonderful companion for other cats. Heather's photo is a bit of an enigma - because she is.

Audrey

Audrey is a beautiful cat who has always been shy. She plays with other cats and occasionally comes out to the living room in the evenings. For the most part, Audrey stays in the back of the house where it's quiet and she can enjoy her beauty rest. She is a good companion for other cats.

Maizie

I’m a petite girl, with long legs and a happy spirit. At first I can be shy, but let me snuggle with you and we will become fast friends. I weigh 10 lbs and am about 1 year old. Other dogs are fine and I have not met any cats. Young kids may be too rough for me, so 10 years or older, please.

Liberty

Liberty is pretty chatty and enjoys splitting her time between playing with the other cat, Murphy, and laying around with her foster. She absolutely loves having her head scratched and will lay around for a long time as long as her head is getting scratched. Liberty also follows her foster around like a dog, every room and recently enjoys to sleeping next to her foster's head. She lives with a dog. Liberty also enjoys playing chase and wrestling with Murphy at night.
