Happy Endings - Adopted & Rescued Pets

Earl Gray

I am a sweet, shy young man who was abandoned by my owner and Loving Arms stepped up to keep me off the nasty streets. I do have a tendency to drool. I get along with other dogs but am not sure about cats. Bring in your dog and let’s see if we can make a good match. I am a big boy and weigh 71 lbs.

Echo

I’m watching you. Do you see me? Want to meet and see if we make a good match?

Eiko

Last year, I adopted an energetic black kitten from Loving Arms named Anna - I renamed her Eiko. Just this week, I saw the "Happy Endings" section of your website and thought maybe I'd send over a couple of photos of how she's doing now. (I was working with Libby when I adopted Eiko.

I just wanted to send some photos - she's grown up a lot (although is still pretty silly), and is doing fantastic. I adopted her to give my other cat a playmate - Lydia is 4 and seemed to be a getting little bored, and I fell in love with Eiko the second I saw her. They became great friends almost as soon as Eiko came home - Eiko follows Lydia all over the place, and they play together all the time (rather, Lydia puts up with Eiko's playing). They also sleep right next to each other. I renamed her "Eiko" after a little sister character from a story I like.

I admire the work that you all do so much - I know it's not easy.

Thank you,

Eli

Although I can't tell you what happened, you will notice that I am slow to trust new people. Give me a chance to get to know you and I will be a loyal, forever companion.

You see, I was abandoned at a time when my ear infections caused severe pain. I didn't realize that my rescuers would help me, and my head was aching. Slowly I began to feel better, and could get the rest I needed.

I have a many colored coat with an orange half moon on my head. I was left at a vet’s office with my 2 brothers and sister, Oakleigh. I am a very loving girl who is looking for a wonderful family of my own. If you’re interested, please fill out an application and let’s get rolling.

Elke

I am one of 7 puppies, rescued from a highway in Caldwell, TX. I am a bit shy at first, but learning to enjoy people and other dogs. Don't let those sad eyes fool you. I'm a happy go lucky girl. My hip was fractured when I was picked up and the surgeon put it all together again. I enjoy playtime and exploring my world.

Estimated weight 50 lbs.

Don't let my "special needs" label scare you. I am almost completely blind, but move around well, and only need the sweet sound of your voice to guide me in unfamiliar areas. I love to sit outside and feel the warm sun on my face, and then will snuggle next to you when it is time to rest. Other dogs in my world are fine, and I really like it when they come up and want to get acquainted with their noses. I am laid back, sweet and hope to find a family of my own.

I am an active, outgoing girl and would love a doggy buddy in my new home. If you like to walk or jog, I am your girl. Age: about 2 yrs. Weight: 50 lbs.

Elmer

I am a young adult and love playing with my brothers. I get along with all dogs, and am considered the quiet one in the group. I walk well on a leash, and know some commands.

Elsa

My siblings and I are the cutest pups ever - some terrier mix, but Dad is a mystery. Of course, he left before we came along. I'm in a great foster home, enjoying being a spoiled baby. I will soon be ready for meet and greets so you can consider that "forever" arrangement. I should be in the 35-40 lb range as an adult but nobody is certain.
