Loving Arms Pet Placement is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization created to address the problems of stray and abandoned cats and dogs in Houston and Harris County. Our organization is comprised of dedicated volunteers who foster animals in their homes as an alternative to taking the animal to a shelter.
Loving Arms is supported entirely by private donations and the support of its dedicated volunteers. When an individual rescues a dog or cat, the rescuer may agree to care for the animal’s essential needs—food, cleanliness and shelter. Loving Arms will provide the veterinary care needed to get the animal healthy enough for adoption. All animals are spayed or neutered prior to being placed up for adoption. Loving Arms has organized adoption programs for its animals at 3 different PetSmart locations in Houston. Dogs and cats available for adoption are promoted through Loving Arms’ website and Petfinder.com.

We are always in need of loving homes to foster dogs and cats on a short term and long term basis.
